Tom Herschmiller of Comox, British Columbia a.graduate of Princeton University now on Canadian National Team and Gold Medallist in the 4- from Milan, Italy 2003 World Championships.
No stranger to the 3 mile races course here at the Charles River, Jake Wetzel of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan trained with Mike Teti on US Team. Wetzel was in 2000 Olympics 4x for Team US, and has dual citizenship (parents from US & Canada). Wetzel is now on Canadian National Team and shared a the same victory with Tom in the 4-. Jake is three-time Intercollegiate Rowing Champion and graduate of Cal Berkley.
Andreanne Morin of Montreal, Quebec also a Princeton University undergrad and Bronze medallist from 2003 World Championships will be starting 2 positions ahead of the Tigers.
Dave Calder of Victoria, British Columbia is a graduate of University of Washington, recent gold medallist from 2003 World Championships will helping to advance the Canadian 8 victory lap.
Canada's 1976 Olympic Straight Four will reunite and strike the newly formed Senior Masters 4+ event. The "Beach Boy Four", as they were known in Canadian rowing circles, were all tall & fair-haired and their looks caused quite a stir among the ladies.
